A West Fargo construction company faces two citations from the Occupational Health and Safety Administration after an employee's death.

Carl Jensen of Bruce, S.D., fell Aug. 17 while working on an Interstate 94 overpass project near Medina, in southeastern North Dakota.

The Stutsman County sheriff has said the 59-year-old Jensen was laying a tarp over recently poured concrete when a gust of wind caught the tarp, knocking him through the wooden safety rail.  He fell about 20 feet and landed on his head.  OSHA says Industrial Builders exposed workers to high winds while working with the tarp and allowed workers to walk over a concrete wall that wasn't well protected.

The company has until Thursday to appeal. It faces almost $7,000 in fines.
