The fall-like weather is perfect for a harvest festival supper tonight. There'll be a bake sale and supper at the West Nidaros Lutheran Center in Crooks from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for kids.
It's the Largest Truck Convoy this morning for Special Olympics. There'll be a pancake feed that will start at 6:30 AM followed by the Convoy that will leave the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds at 10:15 AM. After the Convoy everyone will meet back at the Fairgrounds for an auction and raffle.
Camp Jess is happening at the Leif Ericson Camp starting at 9:00 AM and running all day until 5:00 PM. Kids 6 to 17 who are dealing with grief stricken situations are invited to come and spend the day with other kids participating in activities and crafts all day.
It's the Championship Northern Bull Riding Tour at the Sioux Falls Arena. It's part of the Make-A-Wish Family Weekend. Riding starts at 7:00 PM.
There's an AIDS Walk at Pasley Park at today. Registration starts at 12:30 PM with the 5-K Walk kicking off at 2:00 PM. The money raised will go to help AIDS patients and research.
There's also a Buddy 5-K Walk to help kids with Down Syndrome. It's happening at Sertoma Park with registration at 9:00 AM and the walk at 10:00 AM. Registration is $15. Along with the walk, Phil Baker will be providing children's musical entertainment and Dance Gallery's Adaptive Dance students will be putting on a show.
