Residents of the Webster, Langford and Roslyn school districts will vote August 11 on a consolidation plan.
The South Dakota Department of Education says the ballot question asks whether the Roslyn school district should be dissolved, with its students going to schools in Webster and Langford. The Roslyn school district has been dealing with declining enrollment. It would cease to exist next July 1 if the plan is approved.
Susan Woodmansey with the Education Department says the consolidation needs to be approved by voters in all three school districts.
