Whether it’s confirmed or not, a probable case of H1N1 in Marshall County is making some people living there more conscious of the virus.
Britton juniors Ethan Wade and Eric Cease have been learning about it every day in school.
"Well, I mean it kind of raises my concern that it's around in this area. I mean a lot of people are around each other in this area so it can travel fast," Wade said.
Even if the possible case is confirmed, neither of them plans to make any big changes to their daily routine. They'll just keep doing simple things like washing their hands more often.
Richard Benda also lives in Marshall County with his family. He's aware of H1N1 but not too worried about it.
"It'll come and go I'm sure," Benda said.
But with four kids at home it isn't completely off his mind either.
"I got three of them in school and one in preschool so, you know, it seems like that stuff gets spread around in the schools and stuff just as easily as it can anywhere else," Benda said.
That's something he says he'll look out for. But the virus that's been getting a lot of attention across the nation won't cause him too much concern at home, even if a case
in his own county is confirmed.
Minnesota has one confirmed case already.
