An Aberdeen contractor has finished paving a 22-mile stretch of Interstate 90 west from Mount Vernon to White Lake in a $23.3 million project that was funded with help from federal stimulus money.
Upper Plains Contracting of Aberdeen did the work.
Nathan Reede of Upper Plains said it originally was to have been done over two years, but the contractor bid it as a one-year project and finished it earlier this month.
Upper Plains also did a second stimulus project, reconstructing 9.4 miles of Interstate 29 between Volin and Beresford for $8.3 million.
