The Army Corps of Engineers says the reservoirs on the Missouri River system have nearly recovered from a decade of drought. Only Fort Peck Reservoir in Montana is still below normal elevation.

The other two large reservoirs - Oahe and Garrison - both crested the past summer and are 7 to 10 feet higher than normal.

Fort Peck is 8 feet below normal. The corps says releases from Fort Peck will be limited so it gains water in the coming months.

The corps expects runoff into the river system this year will be 36 percent above normal.
