KELOLAND TV has promoted Beth Jensen to News Director. Jensen succeeds Mark Millage who leaves the position May 16. 

Jensen joined KELOLAND TV 12 years ago as a reporter. She has spent the last seven years serving as Executive Producer. 

Commenting on the announcement Jay Huizenga, President and General Manager said, “Beth brings experience, vision and enthusiasm to her new position. She also understands and embraces our tradition of news excellence and leadership. I look forward to working with Beth in further growing our news product.” 

In accepting this promotion, Jensen added, “I grew up watching KELO and understand the station’s unique role in the community. I have been very fortunate to learn from the great people in the KELO newsroom over the years. And I look forward to working with our very talented staff in continuing that growth.” 

Last Saturday, KELOLAND News captured 18 awards for news excellence including the Overall Excellence award at the annual South Dakota Associated Press Awards. 

KELO-TV www.keloland.com is a Young Broadcasting station. Young Broadcasting (YBTVA) owns ten television stations and the national television representation firm, Adam Young Inc.
