At least 20 tornados were spotted in KELOLAND on Saturday, and while no one was hurt, the twisters did plenty of damage.  A Plankinton hunting business is one of those picking up the pieces and the feathers.

A tornado hit K&M Hunting and there was not even enough time to seek shelter for owners, Mike & Kathye Miller, whose house is next to the business. Phil Greif, a friend visiting from Arizona, says the tornado lasted just seconds. "There was no warning and no noise.  It was just like a bomb hitting the house."

Like a bomb, it blew the Millers' belongings to pieces.  They say, "It wiped out the pheasant nursery, cattle shed, shops, dog kennels and lodge. We thought we were go be able to save the house, but it's slowly caving in on itself from all the structure damage."

The pheasant hunting business brings people from all over the country to hunt on the land, and they raise 14,000 birds a year. Many of those birds were lost in the storm.  "We did lose 7,000 birds that were in a nursery. They're pretty much gone and they weren't insured or anything."

The Millers have lost pretty much everything they own, but they are staying positive because they have friends and family to help them recover.  "If something's got to happen to you, it should be here because people just come in droves."

The Millers say they are just grateful to be alive and plan to begin rebuilding immediately and be up and running by hunting season.
