Actor and activist Russell Means was the top vote getter in the Oglala Sioux Tribe's primary election for tribal president.

He'll be on the November 4 general election ballot against state Sen. Theresa Two Bulls, who finished second.

Incumbent president John Yellow Bird Steele was third and Gerald Big Crow finished a distant fourth in the primary.

Means has run for tribal president before but has never won.
