A former Hill City High School teacher, accused of having sexual contact with her students, has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.

Thirty-one-year-old Sommar Chaffee will serve two days in jail and be forced to continue psychological counseling after pleading guilty to Disseminating Material Harmful to Minors- a class one misdemeanor- as part of a plea bargain.  She'll also lose her teaching license for three years.

State officials tell KELOLAND News that while they believe Chaffee did have sexual contact with at least three boys, they were over the age of 16, which provides legal consent in South Dakota.

We'll have more details on the plea deal and the case later today on KELOLAND News.
