Meade County commissioners and the city of Sturgis remain at odds over the city's plan to annex land.

The city proposes to annex 1,800 acres to the east.

The annexation dispute wound up in court and county commissioners say they're not happy about it. Commissioner Alan Aker says taxpayers are paying for both sides of the lawsuit.
