A Pierre man accused of raping a teenage boy is scheduled to be sentenced in January, after pleading guilty to two of the counts he faced.
Frank Hansell entered his plea in Hughes County Circuit Court on Monday. He faces up to 50 years in prison when he's sentenced January 8.
The 37-year-old had been charged with 10 counts of rape for the incidents with a 16-year-old boy that allegedly happened last year. Authorities said the boy was incapable of giving consent.
As part of a plea deal, prosecutors agreed to dismiss eight of the counts.
