The Black Hills State University Foundation is getting a $750,000 grant to establish the South Dakota Womens Business Center.
The money comes from the U.S. Small Business Administration and will allow the university to expand its business consulting and outreach program.
The school says the Womens Business Center will be part of a network of more than 75 nationwide that provide entrepreneurs with management and technical help, counseling and comprehensive training on many topics.
SBA's South Dakota district director, John L. Brown II, says the services are coming at the right time to help entrepreneurs get through tough economic times.
