South Dakota's third-largest fair drew 1½ percent more visitors this year compared to 2008.  The Brown County Fair's 2009 count of 246,684 visitors topped last year's mark of 243,000 and 220,000 in 2007.

Revenue numbers aren't yet prepared, but Commissioner Burt Elliott says grandstand revenue is expected to be down from last year while.  He says general fair attendance was strong during the weekend.
