An 18-year-old Spearfish man is facing a vehicular homicide charge in a fatal crash over the weekend near Orman Dam in Butte County.

Timothy Berry also was cited for driving under the influence and underage drinking.

The Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Billy Sexton of Spearfish was a passenger in a pickup driven by Berry. They say Sexton fell from the vehicle and was run over. He was pronounced dead at a Spearfish hospital.

Berry is out on $10,000 bond. Vehicular homicide carries a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison upon conviction.
