Federal grand jurors in Nebraska have indicted a South Dakota man on charges he stole nearly $19,000 from customers of a bank where he once worked.

Prosecutors say 37-year-old Neil Jensen of Henry is charged with 14 counts of misapplying bank funds.

He has been employed by the Watertown School District as corporate education director at Lake Area Technical Institute since July. Watertown Superintendent Lesli Hanson says Jensen was suspended with pay until the investigation is done.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Nebraska says Jensen transferred the money into his personal account between July 2001 and January 2004 while working as an officer and employee of United Nebraska Bank in Columbus, Nebraska.
