An August 6 trial is scheduled for a Britton man accused of shooting at sheriff's deputies during a standoff.

Deuel County State's Attorney Greg Stoltenburg said 29-year-old Jacob Stark pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer. 

Stark was arrested after a standoff with lawmen at an abandoned farm near Gary on April 19.
