Passengers onboard a United Airlines flight had to make an emergency landing in Sioux Falls Wednesday evening.

United says a flight from San Francisco to Chicago O'Hare was diverted to Sioux Falls when smoke was reported in the cabin. The 182 passengers and 8 crew members got off the plane after it landed safely. United brought in another plane to take the passengers onto Chicago; it isn't sure what caused the smoke.
