St. Paul Police have canceled an Amber Alert issued for a 15-year-old St. Paul girl.  Jacqueline Mendoza was found early this morning on  St. Paul's West Side.  Police say an 18-year-old suspect in the alleged abduction has been taken into custody.

The Minnesota Crime Alert Network issued the alert last night, saying the girl was assaulted by an unidentified 30-year-old  Hispanic woman and forced into a 1990s light blue four-door  Chevrolet around 2:30 p.m.

Investigators said the girl had run away from home last month and had called her mother Monday morning to arrange to return  home.

Police say the two had met and were walking home when the former boyfriend and the woman showed up and took the girl.
