Yankton police tell KELOLAND News they have a suspect in connection with the death of that 5-month-old baby girl.  Police say the girl may have been a victim of child abuse.

Police say they have questioned the suspect, but no charges have been filed at this time. 

Authorities are still waiting for the results of an autopsy which could be back some time next week. The baby was taken to the Yankton hospital on July 24 and later transferred to Sioux Falls where she died. 

No other information is being released at this time.
